    Summer Reading Bucket List Challenge

    Earn 100 House Points for completing the Summer Bucket List Challenge

    Just finish a task and color in the block. Must complete all the blocks to receive the 100 House Points. Also, complete the Reading Bucket List by listing the books you hope to read over the break, then color the bucket number when you finish the book.

    Bring the Reading Bucket List Challenge back on Raider Round Up Registration Night. Find Mrs. Rogers that night and place your challenge sheet in your house bucket. Don’t forget to place name at the top.

STEM-ulating Clubs


 

 

We have some fabulous before and after school clubs available to our 3rd-5th grade students.  Kids have an opportunity to be involved in one of their top 3 favorite clubs.  The clubs take place either the Fall Semester or Spring Semester.  These clubs are a first come first served basis.  All kids need to be alert and ready to turn their Club form in!!  Below is a list of the clubs offered at Union Elementary STEM and Demonstration School.

Ag Science Club - kids learn basic gardening & poultry skills.

Snap Circuits - Kids will participate in activities with electronic snap circuits.

Let's go Lego - Kids will focus on the design and engineering of various Lego structures.

Baking Bonanza - Kids will learn basic cooking skills such as, measuring, mixing and baking.

Lab Rats - Kids will explore the scientific method and provide hands-on experiments and various demonstrations.

Little Bits - Kids will learn to build devices with the Little Bits tools.

Minecraft EDU Club - Kids will explore engineering through the Mindcraft building challenges.

K'nex Club - Kids will build, investigate and explore geometry concepts in a 2D and 3D world.

Lego Mindstorms NXT - Kids will learn to program robotic kits that will fuel their imagination and the inner thinker.

STEM-ulating News - Kids will have the ability to help produce and record the morning announcements for our school.
